Accessing the Higher Self
The higher self is a unique spiritual essence every person possesses. This is where one’s plans for this life or one’s destiny are stored. As we focus on our troubles and experience emotional turmoil, we neglect our connection to the higher self and the communication and clarity become diluted. Good ways to lift the spirit and enable a good connection with the higher self are through meditation, practicing dance or yoga, immersing oneself in creative activities, spending time in nature, and listening to music.
Fear is a natural reaction to external stimuli and a pivotal sense that allowed our species to survive. This doesn’t mean that we should let fear keep us from achieving our dreams and reaching for our destiny. People tend to create invisible boundaries based on past bad experiences, uncertainty, or fear of the worst possible outcome. A tried and tested way to overcome fears that have been repeated time and time again is to simply face them head-on. It could be a rewarding and liberating experience.
Staying True to One’s Heart’s Desires
Not everyone is clear on what their hidden inner passion is and all they have to go on is the feeling of restlessness and a need for change. There are ways to uncover one’s true desires such as thinking back on past experiences ever since childhood and making notes of every activity that got them excited and happy. Reminiscing this way could trigger an idea of what one might want to do, a passion to rekindle, and a destiny to follow.
Destiny Might Already Be On the Way
According to Anne Jones, people are already fulfilling their roles as spiritual beings if they’re thoughtful and caring while being considerate of others’ feelings. There’s no need to discover a magnanimous destiny to live a good life.
